MooN Kim

Background

Born and educated in South Korea, I relocated to Tucson to focus on raising my children. After my youngest child entered full-day kindergarten, I founded MooNaMoo, LLC, which is a play on Korean words that seeks to evoke an image of a blank white tree branching in unlimited directions and unending possibilities of color and design.

What I Do

I focus on consultation, design, and private education. My notable experiences include successfully preparing students for university art school entrance examinations in Korea and designing characters in an animation studio. My recent works attempt to address the state of humanity in the face of technology using acrylic, origami, and commonly-seen everyday items.
