I use a multi-pronged individualized approach in my art lessons which is suitable for both children and adults. I teach the fundamentals of points, lines, and shapes which are necessary tools. As the fundamentals are acquired, I spend an equal amount of time communicating with my students to help them express their thoughts and imaginations into the art form. Many people worry they may have difficulty expressing their thoughts, but I find that art helps to improve communication skills. Furthermore, I believe that art can empower the present and future generation to be more successful in their professional and personal lives while enriching our culture.
Private and group lessons are available with a maximum of two people per group lesson. I accept students of all ages and stages from elementary school through retirement, and acceptance is based on interview. As lessons are individualized to the student, lesson fees are as well. As a point of reference, private lesson fees begin at $35/hour and group lesson fees begin at $30/hour/student at the first grade level. Fees are subject to change without notice.
